Yang Yang

Yang is a member of the firm’s bankruptcy, transactional, and litigation departments. Yang also consults with clients on a variety of transactional and litigation matters.

Yang earned his first law degree from one of the top law schools in China, the China University of Political Science and Law (中国政法大学). He later earned his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from UCLA School of Law and his J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law. While in law school, Yang served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Scott C. Clarkson and founded the Iowa Bankruptcy Law Society. His note on bankruptcy was also selected for publication in the Journal of Corporation Law.

Yang is also a licensed attorney in the People’s Republic of China, where he practiced at two leading Chinese law firms, focusing on bankruptcy and transactional matters.
